Emmaty Story

    The beginning

Emmaty was founded in 2013 under the name Hector Power Cleaning. Hector and his wife Madeline, inspired by their children, Matthew and Emily, created the name Emmaty Inc. by combining their children’s names.

In its early years, the company operated with a small team responsible for both administrative functions and field execution. At the time, services focused primarily on exterior cleaning, and Hector personally led operations alongside his crew on job sites.

    The company transformation

This structure remained in place until 2019, when Madeline, recognized the company’s growth potential. Together, they decided to expand Emmaty’s service portfolio, incorporating exterior renovations, siding, roof remodeling, window installation and renovation, and pressure washing services.

After gaining experience in the construction industry for a while, Emmaty began its pre-qualifications process in order to compete for government contracts and pursue larger, more ambitious projects.

As part of this process, Emmaty was accepted into the federal 8(a) Business Development Program, and also became certified as a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and HUBZone business. At the state level, the company obtained certifications as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) – SBA Certified.

Later, in 2024, Emmaty obtained certifications from DCAMM and the MassDOT Highway Division, and was also awarded two projects with the MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority), opening significant opportunities within the state sector.

In 2025, Emmaty earned ISO 9001 and CMMI Level 3 appraisals certifications, reinforcing its commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Today, the company manages more than 10 government projects.
