Position: Program Manager

Description of the position:

Manage and oversee civil engineering and construction projects, including managing schedules, budgets, and resources across multiple projects and integrating them into a cohesive program plan. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards and ensuring alignment on deliverables, priorities, and shared resources.

Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to measure the effectiveness of program initiatives. Present detailed program status reports, financial summaries, and resource plans to executive teams. Oversee program budgets and identify opportunities for inter-project efficiencies, cost reductions, and process improvements.

Support project managers in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies. Partner with the business development team to assess the feasibility of new projects and to adopt innovative practices and technologies for future program improvements. Mentor project managers and issue performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a closely related field.
  • At least one (1) year of experience using project management and financial tools such as Microsoft Excel, MS Project and Trello. At least one (1) year of experience with testing methods for water penetration and air infiltration following ASTM and AAMA Standards.
  • At least one (1) year of experience with Electronic Leak Testing (ELT) methods for roof membranes using low-and high-voltage.
  • At least one (1) year of experience with inspection of construction rebars and concrete, including conducting temperature, slump, and air content tests per ASTM C31 standards. At least one (1) year of experience performing uplift tests on roof membranes for high-rise buildings in accordance with FM Global Standards.
  • Travel 1-2 days per week to construction sites across the Boston, MA metro area to supervise and monitor project progress.
